ARABELLA

ARABELLA suits a group of eight who want a holiday shaped around their own pace rather than a fixed itinerary. Completed in 2018, she is a modern gulet and a motor sailor, so she can be under sail when the wind is steady and under power when it is not. Her character is unhurried and sociable, with room for guests to spread out between the cabins, the sun mattresses and the aft deck.

There are four cabins: two master staterooms and two twins, each with its own ensuite shower and WC. The aft-deck master stateroom adds a Jacuzzi and a television, which sets it apart from the rest of the accommodation. At 32 metres in length and with a beam of 7.1 metres, she offers a layout that keeps the group comfortably together while still allowing privacy in the cabins.

On deck, guests have sun mattresses and a deck shower for rinsing off after swimming. Snorkelling equipment is carried on board for exploring the coves and bays along the coast. The crew are at the group's disposal throughout the charter, so requests for timing, meals and stops can be handled as the days unfold.

Her programmes cover five cruising areas: the Bodrum Peninsula, Göcek and Fethiye, Marmaris and Datça, Kaş and Kekova, and the Dodecanese. Routes can be tailored to the group, with the turquoise coast of Turkey as the main setting. The Dodecanese extends the charter into Greek waters, so a single trip can move between the two countries.
