BABYLON

BABYLON is a modern gulet, a motor sailor of the Turkish coastal type that was renovated in 2021. She suits a group of up to ten guests who want the pace of a sailing holiday with the comfort of a well-appointed cabin for each couple. Her character is measured. She is built for slow mornings, long lunches at anchor and an itinerary that follows the weather and the guests' wishes rather than a fixed schedule.

The accommodation comprises five cabins: one master, one VIP and three doubles. Each has its own WC and air conditioning, so guests are not sharing bathroom facilities. At 38 metres long and 8.3 metres in beam, she offers a footprint suited to a party of ten who want space to spread out between cabins and the living areas on board.

On deck, the boat offers a shower and sun mattresses for lounging between swims. Snorkelling equipment is carried on board for exploring the shallows of the coves along the route. Two Scania engines of 440 hp each drive the vessel, supported by generators of 33 kVA and 22 kVA to power the systems and air conditioning while at anchor.

BABYLON cruises the Bodrum Peninsula, Göcek and Fethiye, Marmaris and Datça, Kaş and Kekova, and the Dodecanese. A crew of five looks after the boat and its guests throughout the charter, handling the navigation, the service and the day-to-day running of the yacht.
