LORIENT

LORIENT is a modern gulet, a motor sailor completed in 2009 and measuring 31 metres with a beam of 7.5 metres. She suits a group of up to ten guests who want a substantial boat with room to spread out, rather than a small, quick one. Her character is practical and unhurried, with the emphasis on the deck, the water and time spent at anchor.

Five cabins make up the accommodation: two master cabins, one double and two twins. Between them they sleep the ten guests, giving groups a choice of arrangements. The cabin plan is fixed, with no convertible or triple cabins and no VIP cabin, so the sleeping layout suits couples and pairs of friends who are happy to share a fixed configuration.

Life on deck centres on sun mattresses and a deck shower, with snorkelling equipment carried on board for time in the water. The full list of tenders and toys is not part of the record, so guests with specific water sports in mind should ask the office before booking. The crew of captain, chef, deckhand and steward(ess) manage the running of the boat, leaving guests free to choose between swimming and lying in the sun.

LORIENT is available for charter from May to October. Her cruising area covers the Bodrum Peninsula, Göcek and Fethiye, Marmaris and Datça, and Kaş and Kekova, with the option to continue into the Dodecanese. The route runs along the Turkish coast and out to the Greek islands, so the itinerary can be planned around the sailing time each group wants.
