SAHINOGLU 1

Sahinoglu 1 is a modern gulet, a motor sailor built in Marmaris in 2020 with a long wooden keel. She suits groups of up to fourteen guests who want the character of a traditional Turkish gulet on a newer hull. Under her single 450 hp diesel engine she cruises comfortably at ten knots and tops out at eleven, so passages are measured and unhurried.

Her hull and superstructure are both wood, and her decks are teak. Accommodation is seven double cabins for fourteen guests, which suits pairs travelling together who want their own space. A crew of six runs the boat, and her long keel and wooden construction keep her firmly in the gulet tradition.

Outdoors, her teak decks provide room for sun mattresses, and a deck shower lets guests rinse off after swimming. Snorkelling equipment is carried for exploring the water along the coast. Life aboard is largely outdoors, with swimming and snorkelling as the main pastimes and the deck as the place to spend most of the day.

Sahinoglu 1 cruises the Turkish coast from the Bodrum Peninsula through Göcek and Fethiye, Marmaris and Datça, and Kaş and Kekova, and also sails the Dodecanese. The six-strong crew is on board throughout the charter, so guests have the same team from departure to return.
