FX

FX is a 38-metre motor yacht built in composite and completed in 2016. She suits a party of up to ten who want a fast passage without a noisy interior. Her two engines can take her to around 27 knots, yet her stabilisers keep the accommodation steady, so the speed rarely intrudes on time spent below or on deck.

Her five cabins are arranged as two master cabins, two doubles and a twin, giving sleeping space for ten guests. The interior was designed by Scaro, and the yacht's 8.1-metre beam shapes the space below. The cabin plan is the clearest guide to how she is used, with each cabin sized for the group it carries.

On deck she carries sun mattresses and a deck shower, so the day can be spent in the sun and rinsed off without returning below. Snorkelling equipment is on board for time in the water. A crew of six runs the yacht, which leaves guests free to step back from the practical side of the passage.

FX cruises from the Bodrum Peninsula and the Göcek and Fethiye coast, through Marmaris and Datça and Kaş and Kekova, and on into the Dodecanese and Cyclades. That range covers both the Turkish Riviera and the Greek islands, so routes can be planned across either side of the Aegean.
